POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 OUTBREAK
#YorVoice
To our Donors, Arts Partners, Volunteers, and Residents,
As we carefully consider the information available about the current COVID-19 outbreak and the arts community’s commitment to the safety and health of our community members, we have made the decision to postpone our upcoming YorVoice Musical Showcase scheduled for March 21, 2020 at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts. Our staff and performers are working together to evaluate future dates, and we will share our new date with you as soon as possible. All tickets and People’s Choice votes will be honored for the new date.
Many of our arts groups are making the difficult decision to postpone or cancel classes, events, and workshops. Please make sure to check York365.com for updates on public events being held in the next few weeks.
The arts community is regularly monitoring the situation and following the recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and local health authorities. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this situation together.
Now more than ever, the arts and artists in York County need your support. We are working to capture the ripple effect that these program cancellations are having on our arts groups and our business community. You can help by supporting these businesses with charitable donations, waiving of ticket refunds, purchasing gift cards, and by coming out in strong support when we are able to gather as a community once again. We also want you to know that our arts and culture community is working on ways to bring you experiences in new, virtual deployments because we understand that now, more than ever, those arts experiences will be an important part of navigating this situation and helping us all through this time.
Our utmost priority is ensuring the safety of all of our community members. With that in mind, there are several resources to consider for updated information as we learn more about COVID-19 and its impact on public health:

CDC's Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID0-19) page
Your support matters in times like these. We recognize that this is an unprecedented public health situation, and we will continue to monitor changes and provide updates as the situation evolves.
